Just Say No?

El Tres

Rudy Fernandez is EL REY DELOS TRES
"By a vote of the league's 30 coaches, Fernandez was one of six players named to the NBA's all-rookie second-team, joining fellow countryman Marc Gasol of the Memphis Grizzlies, among others.

In his first NBA season, which included 78 games and four starts, Fernandez averaged 10.4 points, 2.0 assists and 2.7 rebounds per game. He made 159 three-pointers -- the most by a rookie in NBA history -- and shot 40 percent from three-point range.

Coaches, who were not permitted to vote for players on their own team, selected five players for the first team and five for the second team. Fernandez finished tied with Charlotte Hornets point guard D.J. Augustin with the fewest points (17) on either team."

Oooooh indeed, Rudy.  Oooooh indeed.

remember, team...

"  I don't want it to get out of control- mostly because too many people will mess up our focus.  Which needs to be on defense and easy buckets.  And getting to the foul line.  And points in the paint.  And taking care of the ball.  And offensive rebounds.  And disputing calls.  And which Blazer is the cutest...

"Just for a little perspective, I did not realize that Adelman had complained bitterly after game 2 that Yao was getting "manhandled" on both ends of the court and was not getting the calls.  Which is pure Bullshit.  Ever since then he's been miraculously fouled on every possession.  With the ball.  Away from the ball.  On the bench.  In the tunnel.  I think he got a call during team introductions.  But Nate's denunciation of the officiating is just a response and an attempt to rectify what I think is a fairly obvious manipulation of the officiating by a veteran coach on behalf of a protected asset on a team full of tiny little jump shooting NBA afterbirths who could not win a game if daddy didn't set it up for them like an incubator in the NICU."
